From Buda to Pest
If Rome and Paris would make a baby, you get Budapest
This amazing city has touched my heart in so many ways. Every building tells a story. Every corner has it’s own personality. I’ve never been there before and yet it felt like home.
Everywhere I looked the ‘WAUW’ facial expresion was visible on my face. It’s like I went back in time. Experiencing historie all over again.
We (my sister & I) started our early mornings with a cup of cappuccino in a quite cafe nearby our hotel. Free wifi and a cozy couch, thats all we needed to plan the rest of the day out.
The city has so much to offer and we wanted to see every little bit of it. Every where we looked there was a building or a street corner that triggered our curiosity.
We walked for hours around the city with a map in one hand and a ice cream in the other. It was pretty hot (july) and drinking water alone wasn’t enough (a good excuse to eat ice cream :D).
Of course I packed heels but I didn’t wear them. Sometimes we walked for six hours (on sandals). So as you can imagine at the end of the day i couldn’t force my feet into heels. I wouldn’t dare!
Time flies when you are having fun, but i felt complete when the airplane departed. I’ve seen amazing things and I’ve learned a lot about Budapest.
A city where magic is visable in every corner of every street. And the best of all? You can visit and experience the history of the city without a time machine ;).
It was an honor having you on my bucket list Budapest !
